Employees and departments

Steps

   Under Organization → Departments build the structure with New department: Name, Manager (a company user), Parent to nest units and Description. The list shows the hierarchy with its Members.

   Organization → Employees is the directory: ID, Position, Department, Start, Inventory (assigned and movements) and Status. Search by name, ID, role, email or phone.

   Click New employee (or Generate with AI to dictate the data) and fill in ID number, First name, First surname, Second surname, Email, Phone, address, Department, Position, Hourly rate and Start date.

   An employee is an organization record, not access to Tario: to let them sign in, invite them from Settings → Team with their own user and role.

   Employees appear as Responsible employee on movements and locations, as Technician on repairs and as custodians under Assignments. The Assigned items button on each row shows what they have In custody and what was Returned.

   When someone leaves, record the End date and Reason for leaving: the status becomes Inactive and their movement and assignment history is kept.

7. 7

   Export downloads the full directory. An employee can only be deleted without assigned items; a department cannot be deleted while it has employees or sub-departments.
