Security: password, two-factor and passkeys

Each user protects their account under Security (password, two-factor, passkeys); the owner can require two-factor for the whole team in Settings → Security.

If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.

Steps

  1. From the user menu open Security. Under Password enter the Current password, the New password and confirm it; save with Save password.

  2. Under Two-factor authentication pick Authenticator app (Enable 2FA, scan the code and confirm with the Authentication code) or Email codes (Enable email 2FA).

  3. Store the codes from View recovery codes somewhere safe: they help if you lose your phone.

  4. Under Passkeys use Register passkey to sign in without a password from this device.

  5. The owner can go to Settings → Security and turn on Require 2FA for all company users; anyone without it must enable it to continue.

  6. API tokens are managed under API Tokens; revoke the ones you no longer use.

Tips

  • Tario AI and the API respect your role's permissions: two-factor protects those accesses too.
