Set up your company for the first time
The setup wizard has seven steps: company, location, taxes, numbering, Hacienda credentials, plan and review. Everything can be changed later in Settings.
If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.
Steps
Company: enter the legal name, the trade name, the identification (physical, legal, DIMEX or NITE) and the contact details; use the same legal data registered with Hacienda.
Location: province, canton, district, neighborhood and exact address; Hacienda requires them on every document.
Taxes: pick the economic activity (Tribu-CR code), the currency and the prorrata; if you do not know the value, leave 100 %.
Numbering: enter the last number issued for each document type (0 if you never issued any); the next one continues from there.
Credentials: ATV e-invoicing user and password,
.p12certificate and its PIN. You can leave them for later in Settings → Hacienda.Plan and Review: choose the plan (you can start for free), review the summary and create the organization. The dashboard opens with the suggested next actions.
Tips
- If you did not finish the wizard, the company shows in My companies as pending and you can resume or delete it from there.
- The Hacienda environment (test or production) is set by the Tario installation and shown as a badge in Settings → Hacienda; it is not changed from the company.
