Ledger: balances and movements per account
The ledger shows each account's balance and the lines behind it, including the automatic entries from invoices, bills, payments and inventory.
If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.
Steps
Open Accounting → Ledger. On the left is the account tree with balances; on the right, Account activity with date, description, Debit, Credit and running Balance for the selected account.
Search with Search accounts… or expand each category; turn on Show archived if you need a retired account.
Narrow the detail with From and Until; click a line to open the transaction that created it with View transaction.
Automatic entries come from: issued invoices (Cuentas por Cobrar, revenue and IVA Débito Fiscal), accepted bills (Cuentas por Pagar, expense and IVA Crédito Fiscal), collections and payments (bank against receivables or payables), inventory (Inventario and Costo de Ventas when goods are sold or received) and the year-end close.
Use Export to download the selected account's activity with the applied filters.
From the same tree you can use Edit account or New account; balances for every account and the trial balance live under Reports.
Tips
- A balance that does not add up almost always comes from a document: open the transaction from the ledger line instead of correcting the account by hand.
