AI credits: usage, packages and balance
Every AI action spends credits: first the ones your plan includes each month, then purchased ones, which never expire. There is no automatic top-up; you buy packages in My subscription.
If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.
Steps
Credits are spent by Tario AI answers, Generate with AI, reading images and PDFs, reading bank statements, data imports and automations.
The credits chip in the top bar shows the available balance; opening it shows From the plan: :remaining of :included, Purchased: :count and the date plan credits renew, with the See billing and buy credits link.
Each plan includes credits per month: Independent 100, Essential 1,000, Professional 2,500 and Business 5,000. They are used first, reset every month and unused ones do not carry over.
To buy, go to Settings → My subscription, section AI credits → Credit packages: 750 credits for US$10, 4,000 for US$50 or 8,000 for US$99, plus VAT (13%). Click Buy and pay by card with ONVO Pay.
Purchased credits never expire and are used after the plan credits. The same section shows From plan, Purchased and Used this month; every purchase gets its electronic invoice.
There is no automatic top-up: when fewer than 100 credits remain, the chat shows "You have :credits AI credits left." with Buy credits; people who do not manage billing are asked to tell whoever does.
To see where credits went, open Settings → AI usage log: Credits used, the Credits by agent table and every call with its Agent, Credits and Status, filterable by date.
Tips
- A simple question costs a fraction of a credit; reading a long bank statement costs more. A typical company's automations use about 22 credits a month.
- With a complimentary subscription, payment changes are disabled; write to us if you need more credits.
Common errors
