Test and production environments
The Hacienda environment (test or production) is set by the Tario installation and shown as a read-only badge; each document belongs to the environment it was issued in and the other environment's documents are not shown.
If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.
Steps
In Settings → Hacienda → Connection the Environment badge says Test environment or Production. It is not a company switch: the Tario installation sets it.
Credentials and certificate must belong to the environment on the badge; test credentials do not work in production and vice versa.
Every invoice, note, bill and received document is tagged with the environment it was issued or received in. Lists, the dashboard, reports and taxes only show the active environment's documents.
The other environment's documents are not deleted: they stay hidden and show again if the installation goes back to that environment.
To rehearse, use an installation in the Test environment: documents reach Hacienda's sandbox and have no fiscal validity.
Tips
- Sequence numbers are per environment too: numbers used in testing do not consume production ones.
