Branches, terminals and sequence numbers
Document numbering lives in Settings → Hacienda → Numbering: each branch and terminal keeps its own sequence per document type, which is part of the 50-digit key.
If you are not signed in, Tario asks you to log in and opens your current company.
Steps
Open Settings → Hacienda and the Numbering tab. Branches and terminals lists each branch with its terminals.
Use New branch or New terminal to add a location or a till; each one issues with its own sequence.
Mark the Default branch and Default terminal and save with Save default: new invoices use them.
Under Document numbering pick the Branch and terminal and use Edit numbering to set the last number issued for each type; the next document uses that number + 1 and it cannot go below what was already issued.
The 20-digit sequence number combines branch, terminal, document type and number, and goes inside the 50-digit key together with the date and your tax id.
To delete use Remove branch or Remove terminal; the principal, the default and those with fiscal documents cannot be removed.
Tips
- If you come from another system, enter the last number you issued there so Tario continues the series without gaps or repeats.
